Professional Profile

Clear vision and savvy determination have made Kristopher Henderson the lawyer he is today.

It made him one of the Prince George Chamber of Commerce “Top 40 Under 40” in 2018-19.

It got him a job during law school as a researcher for famed labour law arbitrators Vince Ready, Chris Sullivan and Corinn Bell.

It is a spirit there waiting for clients when they turn to him with complex, distressing personal situations often complicated by pain they might also be in.

“I am motivated by the feeling of getting a great outcome for a client, and the intellectual challenge of a complicated matter,” he said.

The ability to de-clutter a case, how to see the core truths and how the law fits the situation, and how to apply the skills for either settlement or trial are some of Kristopher’s core talents. Another is good communication between him and the client throughout the process of the case.

On A Personal Note

Raising a family and making his lifelong living in Prince George was always the dream for this multi-generational resident. “I’m a Prince George kid that loves everything the city has to offer. My great grandmother moved to Prince George when she was a baby, and my family has been here ever since.”

There is the appeal of easy access to the activities he likes, especially hockey. There is a variety of indoor and outdoor recreations, from fishing and tobogganing to museums and rinks to parks and lakes.

Mostly, though, it is the combination of offerings that makes it a family city. He and his wife have four kids to consider. He is also thinking of family when he keeps abreast of provincial politics and when he volunteered on the BC Chamber of Commerce advocacy committee helping promote Northern BC Businesses. He’s thinking of the city’s future because, Kristopher said, “this where I plan to spend my whole career.”
