Professional Profile

Alanda brings a broad range of experience to her practice, spanning litigation, teaching, and solicitor’s work. She previously practiced in estate litigation, personal injury, and civil litigation before transitioning to a solicitor’s role focused on residential real estate transactions, wills and estates, and corporate and commercial matters. Her background as a litigator informs her approach as a solicitor, giving her a practical perspective when advising clients.

Alanda assists clients with residential real estate and corporate transactions, and she also enjoys helping individuals, couples, and families with their wills and estate planning needs. She particularly enjoys disability estate planning and rural real estate transactions.

In addition to her legal practice, Alanda has a strong interest in teaching. She has previously worked with the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education (CPLED), where she worked  as an assessor and as Education Counsel, evaluating the performance of law students. She is currently an adjunct professor of business law at the University of Northern British Columbia and has previously taught at the College of New Caledonia.

After spending the past twelve years in Alberta, Alanda is delighted to return to northern British Columbia to practice law in Prince George, close to her family and not far from the small rural town where she grew up.
