Richard was born in Chilliwack, British Columbia and is married with two children. His hobbies include reading, history and fly-fishing but his biggest love is “marathoning”, having completed an astonishing eighty-five marathons. Richard completed the 2010 and 2011 Seattle Quadzillas, running four marathons in four days. He is the organizer for the much anticipated annual “Mad Moose Marathon” in Prince George. Richard is a former member of the Chamber of Commerce Government Relations Committee and former member of the Prince George Chamber of Commerce.
