Gaurav Parmar

Gaurav was born and raised in Prince George. Gaurav is a graduate of D.P. Todd Secondary School and attended the College of New Caledonia before completing his studies at Simon Fraser University (B.B.A., M.B.A.) and at the University of Saskatchewan (J.D.) before returning to Prince George.
Gaurav worked as a summer student and then completed his Articling year with Hope Heinrich LLP on August 18, 2004 before joining Heather Sadler Jenkins LLP as an associate lawyer in September 2004. Gaurav became a partner at Heather Sadler Jenkins LLP in January 2010.
Gaurav’s practice incorporates all areas of business law including but not limited to: corporate, commercial, real property, mortgages, wills & estates, employment law, residential conveyancing, commercial loans, and creditor's remedies.
Gaurav is very active in the Prince George community and has worked as a part time instructor within the School of Business at the University of Northern British Columbia from 2006 to 2009 and has taught Business Law at the College of New Caledonia in 2008.
Gaurav was elected as the new President of the Prince George Chamber of Commerce on March 16, 2011. Gaurav was previously elected as the 1st Vice President in 2010 and he served as a Director from 2008 to 2009.
In his spare time Gaurav enjoys and engages in all kinds of sporting activities. As a member of the College of New Caledonia Varsity Basketball Team Gaurav was named as the top student athlete. He has been selected as an elite athlete to the British Columbia Provincial Basketball and Volleyball teams.
