David E.M. Jenkins, Q.C. has practised Criminal Law throughout Central and Northern British Columbia since 1968.

He has been engaged in literally thousands of "impaired related" cases and has defended numerous individuals charged with murder, arson, sexual assault, drug offences and Wildlife Act offences.

He travels widely in connection with his defence work and has appeared in almost every Provincial Court in British Columbia as well as in Supreme Court of British Columbia and the British Columbia Court of Appeal.

He often utilizes the services of technical experts in most of his cases such as those trained in the field of engineering, polygraph testing and alcohol and drug ingestion and elimination.

Mr. Jenkins has coached minor lacrosse for the past 20 years and is presently coaching the P.G. Midget A Lacrosse Club.

He is also a part time guide outfitter, horse breeder and farmer.

He is a past director of the Prince George Golf & Curling Club, as well as past president of the Cariboo Hockey League and the Prince George 4-wall Handball Association.

He played competitive hockey, lacrosse and was a member of two National Championship teams - The University of Alberta Golden Bears (hockey) - 1964 and the Prince George Molson Oldstyler Lacrosse Club - 1974).
