Raised in McBride, British Columbia, Robin went to high school in Vernon. Happily achieving balance between work and home life, she loves living and working in Prince George. In her spare time, Robin enjoys camping, hiking and outdoor winter activities, and is looking to improve her golf game. Robin has been a Director of Prince George Crime Stoppers since April 2005.

Robin's area of practice is family law, which has allowed her to travel throughout the interior of British Columbia. Robin places great importance on working hard and helping people through difficult times.

The Law Society of British Columbia has appointed Jan Christiansen as a member and director of the BC Law Institute for a three year term.  The B.C. Law Institute carries out scholarly legal research and promotes the ongoing reform and improvements of the law and the administration of justice.
